- Summer, 1982 – Due to the lack of small size instruments to be used to teach children in Mexico, Yuriko Kuronuma initiates a Campaign to obtain small instruments through donations in Japan. This was possible with the support of the Japanese Embassy in Mexico, Japan Airlines, the Mexican Foreign Ministry and the Ministry of the Interior of Mexico, to bring around 100 small violins to Mexico.
- Spring, 1985 – Under the motto “Thank You for the Violin”, the first concert tour in Japan took place with twelve children ranging from 9 to 14 years old covering seven cities including Tokyo and Nagoya. With this tour, and through music, a link of friendship between young people of both countries was firmly established. The tour had a wide coverage thanks to the support of the national media NHK TV. During the concert in Tokyo, we were honored by the presence of the Crown Prince and Princess at the time, present Emperor and Empress of the Japanese Imperial Family.
